Le Festival de Lanaudière is the most important classic music festival in Canada, and he appears among the biggest festivals of the kind in North America. It takes place annually in the region of Lanaudière, in about fifty km north of the Montreal. Concerts take place in the Amphitheater Fernand-Lindsay, located in Joliette, and in the various churches of the municipalities of Lanaudière. It welcomes every summer more than 60 000 music lovers in its diverse activities.
